Taxis are very hard to come by to travel in Goa. There are taxis to and from the airport but internally very rare. For transfers to/from the airport, you can either book with Kenilworth or contact Dhiraj at Goa Airport Taxis via WhatsApp on +91 78752 40106 quoting "Sinha Wedding".
Kenilworth Transfer Rates:
Dabolim (GOI) - INR 1600 (7am-7pm)/INR 2000 (7pm-7am)
Manohar (GOX) - quoted separately.
Goa Airport Taxi Rates:
GOI - INR 1350-2500 depending on car size.
GOX - INR 2800-4500 depending on car size.
If you plan to visit other parts of Goa before or after the wedding, we would suggest renting a car. Rentals start from £15/day and they can be booked from the airport or your hotel. There are cabs available but these are unionised and can be expensive and hard to come by.
We have previously used: Easy Rides Goa. Message them on WhatsApp here (+91 98345 93249). These get booked out fast during the wedding season so we recommend booking this early.
Travel vaccine requirements can vary depending on the specific areas you plan to visit in India and your individual health circumstances. Please ensure your vaccines are up-to-date before flying (click here for more details). Please also check your travel insurance is up-to-date.
Safe Drinking Water: Drink only bottled water and avoid ice in your drinks, as it may be made from tap water. Ensure the seal on bottled water is intact when you buy it.
Food Safety: Be cautious about what you eat. Eat hot, freshly cooked food, and avoid street food or raw or undercooked seafood and vegetables that may have been washed with tap water.
Insect Protection: Use insect repellent to protect against mosquito-borne diseases.
While there will be WiFi throughout the hotel, we suggest getting an e-SIM while you are travelling around India for Google Maps/WhatsApp etc. This only works on iPhone. We mainly use Airalo.
Please book your visa well in advance, especially for guests coming from the UK where there can be delays in processing visas.

Goa is served by two main airports: Mopa Airport (GOX) in the North (1h15m drive from Kenilworth) and Dabolim Airport (GOI) in central Goa (30m drive from Kenilworth).
We recommend flying into Dabolim airport.
For guests flying from London there are 3 main options for flying to Goa:
1. London > Mumbai or Delhi > Goa:
Several airlines fly into Mumbai or Delhi. You can then affordably arrange a domestic flight to Goa (Airlines include: Indigo, SpiceJet, AirIndia, Vistara). Some airlines may arrange you connecting flight for you.
2. London > Doha > Goa:
Qatar Airways, along with a few other carriers provide connecting flights to Goa stopping in Doha, Qatar. These flights land in Dabolim Airport.
3. Direct to Goa:
As of the time of writing, TUI is currently the only airline scheduled to fly directly to Goa (GOX) from the UK (Manchester & Gatwick only).
